St. Patrick's Day Celebration-March 15th. . A parade starts the day at 11am. Everyone is invited to participate, please contact City Hall for more information (607)324-7421.

APRIL

MAY
Memorial Day Parade-Monday, May 26, 2008. The parade will form at 9am and step-off at 9:30am beginning at the lower end of Main St. and finishing at the Broadway Mall. Services honoring all veterans, will begin shortly after the parade ends at the Veteran's Memorial. For more information you may contact The Hornell American Legion 607-324-3424.

JUNE
Hornell High School Alumni Weekend June 26, 27, 28, 29th. The celebration kicks off on Thursday evening with a dance on Broadway at 7pm. Friday, classes meet at various locations to socialize and reconnect. Saturday there will picnics during the day and the banquet for all classes in the evening. The weekend is capped off on Sunday when many classes have planned brunches.

JULY
4th of July Celebration at James Street Park.
Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament takes over downtown Hornell July 25, 26, 27th. Sponsored by Hornell YMCA (607)324-5520.
Maple City Sound, the annual Drum and Bugle Corps competition, will be held at the Sports Complex at Maple City Park on Thursday July 31, 2008. This year's Drum Corps International, Inc., show will begin at 7:00pm and will include The 7th Regiment of New London, CT; Beatrix of Hilversum; Blue Stars of LaCrosse, WI; Pioneer of Milwaukee, WI, Spirit from JSU of Jacksonville, AL. Also included in the show is Mighty St. Joe's. Ticket prices remain at $12.00 for grandstand seating, and $10.00 for general admission.
